What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

Last updated: June 2026

Heads up: This is a plain-language template for the preview, not legal advice. Final terms will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

What we collect

We keep data collection lean. Here's what we hold:

  • Account information via our authentication provider, Clerk - for example your email address, and if you sign in with Discord, your Discord profile and username.
  • Your contributions - the votes, forecasts, and sentiment you submit, along with related activity such as the cards you follow and your participation history.
  • Standard technical and usage data - things like device and browser type, IP address, and how you interact with the app, used to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

We use this information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Radiant service.
  • Compute Community Fair Value and the leaderboard from community contributions.
  • Show your public display name - for example your Discord handle - on leaderboards and alongside community activity.
  • Detect and prevent abuse, vote manipulation, and other threats to the integrity of the signal.

Note that your contributions and public display name are visible to other users by design - that's how a community signal works.

Service providers and sub-processors

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run Radiant. Each handles data only as needed to provide their service:

  • Clerk - authentication and account management.
  • Neon - our database, where your account and contribution data is stored.
  • Vercel - application hosting and delivery.
  • Scrydex - licensed Pokémon TCG market data used for pricing display.

Selling data and cookies

We do not sell your personal data.We use cookies and similar technologies for essential purposes such as authentication and keeping you signed in. We don't use them to sell your information or to build advertising profiles.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Because votes and forecasts form an append-only historical record that underpins Community Fair Value and the leaderboard, contribution data may be retained - and may be anonymized rather than deleted - to preserve the integrity of that record. We retain technical and usage data only as long as needed for security and operations.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at privacy@getradiant.io. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. Note that deleting your account doesn't necessarily remove past contributions from the aggregate signal, though we'll anonymize them where we can.

Children's privacy

Radiant isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
